How do I analyze an essay?
Paste your essay into the text area on the dashboard (minimum 300 characters, 600+ recommended for reliable AI detection), then click “Analyze essay”. Results will appear in seconds.
What does the Human Score mean?
The Human Score (0-100) indicates how human-like your writing sounds. A score of 70+ suggests likely human-written content, 40-69 is uncertain, and below 40 suggests likely AI-generated content.
What is the Readability Score?
The Readability Score indicates how easy your essay is to understand. Higher scores mean easier reading. It's based on factors like sentence length and word complexity.

Sentence Analysis
Click “Show sentence analysis” to see a breakdown of each sentence with individual scores. Green indicates human-like, yellow is uncertain, and red suggests AI-like patterns.
Writing Feedback
Our writing feedback is powered by frontier models and provides structured analysis of your thesis, argument, evidence, structure, and style—with actionable suggestions for improvement.
Credits & Pricing
AI detection uses 1 credit per word analyzed. Your remaining credits are displayed in the results. For more credits, visit dev.gowinston.ai.
